Hospitals & doctors

The right hospital for your case — and someone who knows the way in.

China's strongest care sits inside its public tertiary hospitals, most of which run an international department built for foreign patients. We help you reach the right one, in the right department, at the right time — and we tell you honestly when a hospital is not right for you.

Institution types

The kinds of institution we match you to.

We deliberately don't publish a hospital name list. The right hospital depends on your condition, your city and which specialist is genuinely available at the time — a published list would start misleading people the day after it went up. Here is what we match you to instead, and what we check first.

Most common

Public tertiary hospital — international department

China's top-tier public hospitals often run a dedicated international medical centre with English-speaking coordinators, private wards and a faster appointment channel.

Specialist

Standalone specialty hospitals

Oncology, ophthalmology, dental, orthopaedic and paediatric centres — institutions where a single specialty is the entire focus.

Faster access

Premium clinic inside a public hospital

The 特需门诊 route: the same specialists as the standard clinic, shorter queues, a higher consultation fee. Often a sensible middle path for diagnostics.

Integrative

Western and Chinese medicine combined

Public hospitals that run traditional Chinese medicine alongside conventional care — used for rehabilitation, pain management and wellness programmes.

Premium

International and joint-venture hospitals

International-standard facilities with the most foreigner-friendly service model, and usually the highest price point. We will tell you when the extra cost buys nothing clinically.

Your choice

A hospital you already chose

If you have already researched a hospital or a specific doctor, we coordinate with them. You are never required to use one from our side.

Specific hospital names are given to you in the written shortlist at plan stage — together with the treating doctor's CV, the department's experience with international patients and a cost estimate for your case. We name a hospital after we have checked it against your case, not before.

How we choose

Six things we check before recommending any hospital.

What we verify

  • Public tertiary status or equivalent accreditation.
  • Dedicated international patient department with English coordinators.
  • Active license and good standing with the local health authority.
  • Documented experience treating foreign patients (volume and outcomes).
  • Disciplined infection control and patient-safety protocols.
  • Transparent pricing and willingness to provide itemized quotes.

What we avoid

  • Hospitals without an international department or English support.
  • Unlicensed brokers posing as clinics.
  • Facilities unwilling to disclose doctor credentials.
  • Centres that pressure patients to commit before records are reviewed.
  • Anyone who promises "guaranteed outcomes" — a red flag.
